Filthy Animals
This is easily one of my most favorite paintings. This may come as a surprise... ;) ... but nakedness has always been something that brings me comfort and joy. We all have these raw forms that are sculpted in so many different ways; it truly is such a beautiful thing & a great source of comedy, if you've got a good sense of humor.
Like many things, the idea for this painting was a quick photography flash of a lightbulb moment that was too bright & obvious not to create. The world needed a naked, fit, Mr. & Mrs. Clause, on what might be a ski resort vacation? I digress.
Nonetheless, there was no way I was getting away with not birthing this brainchild. It was haunting my dreams. So here she is! A sweet 5 lb. 6 oz. 24" x 30" canvas with a full bush.
